BIG WHALE CONSIGNMENT

Spec work done for Big Whale Consignment. This hidden Seattle gem is home to over 100 artists and vendors. I always pass their store front and one day inspiration struck!

I noticed that their logo is a little busy and hard to recognize off the bat. Using their iconic whale motif, I took inspiration from the shapes currently being used. Through simplifying, I landed on a stained glass-esque silhouette.

Unexpectedly, I found a meaning in the different pieces that make a whole—reflecting the way different artists create a community at Big Whale.
